We’re Flatout Excited!

March 30, 2010

Thank you so much for the support and kind comments on our video announcement post. We are glad you all enjoyed the news and we’re so happy we could commemorate the moment with all of you.

We’ve got a few details to share with you as we begin this journey with a team we could not feel prouder to be working for. These people are passionate about great tasting, healthy food and sharing their story with their customers and community. One of these great teammates is Bob Pallotta, a man we had the great fortune of meeting for the first time just a couple of weeks ago but who has forever changed our lives through his enthusiasm for the work he does and his willingness to listen to what we have to offer.

Our other teammates?

The company is called Flatout Bread and it’s owned by Stacey and Mike Marsh, two entrepreneurial spirits who began their journey fresh out of college (sound familiar?) by opening a restaurant in Michigan. Eventually, their customers became so enamored with their flatbread that they encouraged them to start making and selling their own. Thus, Flatout Bread was born and it has grown into a delicious, nationally recognized company through their wraps, Fold-It bread and newest line of crisps.

We could not be more excited – hence our post title! – about working with the Flatout team as they begin entering the social media space and interacting with bloggers, tweeple and Facebook fans who love the brand. Even if you’re not familiar with Flatout, we encourage you to check out their site and read more about their story. The company’s commitment to community, good health and good food is impressive and their mission is one that we easily align with and are proud to represent.

We’ll be rolling out some exciting social media initiatives in the coming weeks, but for now, stop by and say hello to Flatout Bread on Twitter. Check them out: @FlatoutBread.

The company is truly excited to begin engaging with people like you, so please don’t hesitate to say hi!

Our biggest thanks to our supporters and those who have continued to follow us on this journey. We can’t wait to take what we know and what we do and apply it to a company whose values we adore.

Dream Bigger,

The Chi Passionistas Signature

Whooo love flat out wraps! Have some in my fridge now (unless my husband ate them all…again). :) I also love the rosemary olive oil flat breads…mmm! I used those recently for a “bun” for a black bean burger. Amazing! Off to go follow flat out on twitter!

    So proud of you girls!

Really love this comment! Jill was kind enough to make me a rosemary olive oil panini for lunch today! It was a business meeting ;) We both agreed that they are very tasty and it’s funny that you also used them as a “bun” — expect to hear more where that came from in the coming months. You rock, Lindsey!
